Robe Hook

Robe Hook

Step-by-Step Guide to Assembling a Robe Hook

Tools and Materials Needed

  • Black pipe kitset for the robe hook (pipes, flanges, screws, end cap, plug, junction etc.)
  • Electric drill or screwdriver
  • Wall anchors (if necessary)
  • Measuring tape
  • Spirit level
  • Pencil

Step 1: Lay Out the Kitset Parts

  • Unbox the kit: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging.
  • Check components: Lay out the black pipes, fittings, flanges, screws, tee junction and end caps.
  • Verify parts: Ensure that all required pieces are present as per the instruction manual. Typical parts include:
    • Straight black pipes
    • Flanges (for mounting)
    • Plug
    • Tee Junction (to connect pipes and form the hook shape)
    • Screws
    • End cap

Step 2: Attach the 3-hole flange to the wall

  • Position the 3-hole flange where you want the robe hook to be mounted.
  • Using a pencil, mark the screw holes on the wall.
  • Drill pilot holes for the screws.
  • Screw the flange to the wall securely using the 3 screws.

Step 3: Prepare the main hook arm

  • Insert the 40mm pipe into one opening of the tee junction. This will be the arm that holds the robe. Ensure it's secure and straight.
  • Cap the end of the 40mm pipe using the end cap to give it a clean and smooth finish.

Step 4: Prepare the base connection:

  • If needed, insert the 50mm pipe into the vertical opening of the tee junction. This will add a little length and depth to the base of the hook.
  • Screw the plug into the other side of the tee junction to close it off and act as a decorative element.

Step 5: Attach the tee junction to the flange:

  • Connect the tee junction (with the pipes and cap attached) to the flange. The vertical part of the tee should be aligned with the flange.
  • The hook arm (40mm pipe) should extend outward, ready to hold your robe.

Step 6: Final adjustments:

  • Tighten any loose connections and ensure the structure is stable and level.
  • Test the hook by hanging a robe or towel to make sure it holds securely.

Step 7: Clean and Finish

  • Wipe down: Clean the rail using a dry cloth to remove any dust or fingerprints.
  • Inspect the installation: Make sure everything looks even and properly aligned.

Step 8 : Extend Your Warranty Online

  • Visit the manufacturer’s website: Go to the designated website for warranty registration.
